Our Team
Our legal team is made up of experienced attorneys who are passionate about defending workers’ rights. With decades of experience in labor law, our team is dedicated to providing strong, strategic representation for unions and their members. Brian Wood graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law as a member of the Order of the Bench and Robe in 1992. He has practiced in the area of labor and employment law since then, representing public and private sector labor unions as well as joint labor-management benefit funds operating under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.
He is experienced in mediation, arbitration, administrative hearings and appeals, appellate argument, workers’ compensation, National Labor Relations Board matters, grievance procedures, and collective bargaining negotiations. He has taught Labor Law, Employment Law, and Business Law at Park University. He is admitted to practice in Missouri and Kansas state courts, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, and U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas.
Fred Wickham has practiced union side labor law in Kansas City since 1990. He received his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1988 and served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Missouri before entering private practice.
He handles a wide range of matters for union clients including negotiating collective bargaining agreements, representing unions in arbitration, mediation, state and federal litigation, National Labor Relations Board proceedings and providing advice to union clients on a variety of matters. He is admitted to practice in Missouri state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. He presently serves as a member of the Kansas City Jobs with Justice Workers’ Rights Board.
Brian Noland is a highly accomplished labor law advocate with extensive experience representing labor unions. Brian excels in all areas of labor law, from contract negotiations and bargaining to dispute resolution, mediation, and arbitration. Brian is proud to balance his successful legal career with his personal life as a devoted father of two and husband.
